Ted’s public accounting experience spans a variety of areas, including tax planning for businesses and high-net-worth individuals, preparation of business valuations for estate and gift tax purposes, and litigation support.
Ted regularly testifies as an expert witness about valuation, accounting and tax matters. Ted regularly testifies in marital dissolution, family entity and probate issues. Ted offers insight throughout the litigation process, with decades of experience in the valuation of marital assets, tracing funds related to commingled assets, and ultimately in the determination of marital and separate property.
Ted is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Oklahoma. He is an Attorney licensed with the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Ted holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ted is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
Ted is a Trustee on the Oklahoma Lottery Board of Trustees.
Ted has served as the Oklahoma AICPA Council Representative and as Chair of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. Ted was inducted in the OSCPA’s Accounting Hall of Fame in 2014.
Ted has served as the Chair of the OSCPA’s Tax Committee, the Business Valuation/Litigation Support Committee, and the Tax Section for the Oklahoma Bar Association.
What excited you about partnering with Springline?
I’m excited about the opportunity to provide our clients with additional resources and support. GBC has always asked the question, “What is best for our client?” and we are excited to partner with a national organization that shares those same values and goals for our clients.
What unique perspective do you bring to Springline?
Our firm has been a local firm with strong local ties for the past three decades. I have been with GBC for more than 30 years, and I plan to continue our client-first focus and to assist Springline in cultivating accounting and business solutions for our clients that allow the resources Springline brings to the table to mesh with our long-standing client relationships.
Aside from family and friends, what’s one thing you can’t live without?
I’m not sure about living without, but I do love to cook. The satisfaction of cooking a great meal for guests is hard to beat.
