What excited you about partnering with Springline?
I’m excited about the opportunity to combine Cg’s vibrant culture with an organization that values and cares about its people. We always say that our team is our strength, and partnering with Springline makes us even stronger. We’re also looking forward to Springline’s strategic partnership for national talent recruitment and helping us achieve our strategic growth goals. The cross-selling opportunities amongst the firms are endless – it’s truly combining the best of the best.
Aside from family and friends, what’s one thing you can’t live without?
Travel and adventure! I love exploring new places, getting immersed in different experiences, and seeing what other possibilities the world has to offer. My favorite place in my travels thus far is Greece. From the incredible geography and landscape to its remarkable people and culture, it really showed me how to embrace a different kind of lifestyle – one that encourages slowing down, enjoying your surroundings, and taking the time to truly experience the beauty of life.
Describe what our credo “Scale with Soul” means to you.
Scaling with Soul is continuous growth and building a better firm while not forgetting what got us here in the first place. It’s staying true to our values and making sure that we are creating an environment where people can thrive in their careers while still building a stronger, brighter future for the firm.
What unique perspective do you bring to Springline?
I think I bring something that’s pretty unique these days in that I’ve essentially gone through all phases of my career at one firm. It’s important to me that the team recognizes that it is absolutely possible for you to have a successful career without sacrificing the things that are most important to you – time with family, self-care, and pursuing professional and personal dreams. I hope others see my pathway and know that the dream is possible. You can have a fulfilling career without sacrificing family.
How do you see the future of middle-market accounting and business advisory firms evolving?
The consolidation in public accounting is creating opportunities for middle market accounting firms. The key is not losing sight of the importance of client relationships. The client relationship is the foundation for all future services. Larger firms can have a more difficult time nurturing those relationships. Additionally, automation and technology are going to become more available to middle market accounting and advisory firms through partnerships like Springline. No longer is modern, industry-leading technology exclusive to just the top 100 firms.
What’s your ambition for Springline in the next five and/or 20 years?
Scaling with Soul to me means partnering with firms that embrace this mission, which in turn means that Springline will need to be selective with who we partner with. We’ll have top-tier, quality advisory firms to handle all of our client needs. I’d like us to be able to compete with larger firms in terms of service offerings, while at the same time not losing sight of the client connection.
