What excited you about partnering with Springline?
I’m excited at the ability to partner with high-quality, like-minded individuals and firms to provide solutions that enable our combined client base to reach their full potential. I’m also enthusiastic about the personal growth opportunities that will be afforded to ARConians and the strong cultural fit. Partnering with Springline allows ARC to maintain the essence that has made the firm so successful while opening new doors for growth and development.
Aside from family and friends, what’s one thing you can’t live without?
The outdoors. I greatly enjoy being active and taking in all that nature has to offer, especially while in the Colorado Rockies or in the Caribbean. I’m an avid runner, hiker, and greatly enjoy snorkeling and scuba diving.
What unique perspective do you bring to Springline?
My perspective is unique in a few ways. The first 15 years of my career were at a mid-sized life and annuity insurance carrier, while the last 10 years have been with a consulting firm. My corporate roots provided me with a better understanding of the challenges faced by clients and the high-level and detailed workings of the business. I’ve been able to incorporate some of the governance and accountability aspects of a corporate mindset into the flexible and innovative approach of ARC. As an actuary, my background is unique in that I’ve frequently been involved in non-actuarial endeavors such as product administration, negotiating marketing agreements, and bringing new distribution and product lines to market.
